Christkindlmarkt geöffnet | Christmas Market open

Heute öffnet der Christkindlmarkt in der Altstadt und am Marktplatz seine Pforten. Highlights in der Altstadt sind die Märchengasse und der „Lebendige Adventkalender“. Beim Christkindlmarkt auf dem Marktplatz kommen alle Kinder auf ihre Kosten: Karussell, Streichelzoo und vieles mehr bringen die Augen zum Leuchten. Weihnachtliche Marktstände mit schönen Geschenksideen findet man genauso wie alle Schmankerln, die bei einem Weihnachtsmarkt einfach dazu gehören.

Today open the Christmas markets in the Old Town and at the Marktplatz its doors. Highlights in the Old Town include the „Fairy Tale Alley“ and the „Living Advent Calendar“. The Christmas Market at the Marktplatz is the one for the whole family: carousel, petting zoo and many other attractions will make your children’s eyes sparkle.
The Christmas markets offer a range of beautiful gifts, as well as all the tasty regional specialities that one can expect to find at a Christmas market.

Eröffnung Christkindlmarkt | Christmas Market opening

Am 15. November ist es wieder soweit und die Christkindlmärkte in der Altstadt und auf dem Marktplatz werden feierlich eröffnet.  Die Eröffnungsfeier beginnt um 17:00 Uhr in der Altstadt, musikalisch umrahmt von den Klängen der traditionellen Turmbläser und der Wiltener Sängerknaben. Um ca. 17:30 Uhr  erstahlen dann die 1.300 Lichter am großen Christbaum vor dem Goldenen Dachl das erste Mal in diesem Advent.  Auf dem Marktplatz sorgt ein Auftritt von Musiker Gregor Glanz für gute Stimmung.

On 15 November the Christmas markets in the old town and at the marketplace open their doors again. The opening ceremony starts at 5 pm in the old town, surrounded by the traditional sounds of the „Turmbläser“ and „Wiltener Sängerknaben“. At about 5:30 the 1.300 lights of the big Christmas tree in front of the Golden Roof will turned on the first time in this year’s Advent. At the marketplace a performance by the musician Gregor Glanz will create a goog mood.
